Dr. Rachel Mayorga, MD, FACP, is an experienced and dedicated physician based in Healdsburg, California. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Columbia University, Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Utah, School of Medicine and Fellowship in Geriatrics at Rush Presbyterian Medical Center, Chicago, Illinois. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics and is distinguished as a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.

After her fellowship in Geriatrics, Dr. Mayorga worked in the western suburbs of Chicago for 8 years where she provided comprehensive care to patients in clinic, hospitals, and extended care facilities, and served as the Medical Director for several nursing homes. She also acted as a Teaching Attending, imparting her knowledge and expertise to residents and students.

She moved to Healdsburg with her family in 2010. She worked at Healdsburg Primary Care until 2015. She then started her current concierge medical practice. Frustrated with the traditional medical clinic model that makes patients feel rushed and uncared for, she designed her clinic to be patient centered. She likes to call it "Slow Medicine," personalized high quality medical care at a slow pace.
